3 people today have been rescued as a property collapsed right after a hearth and explosion in Croydon, south London.
Six hearth engines and about 40 firefighters were despatched to the blaze in Galpin’s Highway, Thornton Heath, soon immediately after 7am on Monday.
Neighbours, Kutoya Kukanda, 50, and Delroy Simms, 62, explained they aided rescue three youngsters from the rubble, but they feared a girl aged around four or five was nonetheless trapped within.
They reported they considered the children’s mother had been evacuated.
