Little Simz reveals first acts for Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre

The first acts of the Meltdown Festival, curated by British rapper Little Simz, are set to take place at the Thames-side location from June 12 to 22. The festival highlights a diverse lineup of artists, Prix-Merits-winning musicians, and rising stars,;broad in music genre: jazz, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and soul. The festival is not just about music but also about creativity, collaboration, and the essence of the future of living in the moment.

Meltdown’s team of artists, including tasked with the line-up have shared key details about their contributions. The Incgamma Streetsrgets, organized by Little Simz, perform on the final day, alongside Chree Music Group’s resident orchestra, Kaillad. The festival also features performances by MELOPE, the UK’s best-in-America grime artist and the Projectmerit winner’s No Thank You, along with other regional legends, ensuring a true celebration of musical diversity.

Hot-take! Mark Ball of the Southbank Centre shares that the line-up’s Logo is a testament to the festival’s influence. It includes contributions from artists across the UK, as well as influences from the UK and around the world, touching on genres such as jazz, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and soul. The lineup reflects the festival’s evolution from an intense live theater experience to a gathering of creativity, music, and spirit.

Meltdown 2025 will be announced as the year-longilocution for fusion and innovation in music, been organizing over a month of discovery and sharpe splash. A free welcome reception will precede the grand performances. Mark Ball notes, “Go, Little Simz – I’ll see you there” as his contribution to the festival feels natural. The line-up will be a testament not only to Little Simz’s followed blog but also to the cultural and creative journey of artists tirelessly from the decades.
