The new charging points are located at three restaurants in Antequera, Marbella and Malaga capital
The initiative is part of the sustainability commitments made by both companies and incorporates the ‘Happy Change’ strategy launched by McDonald’s at the beginning of 2020 which includes a more focused approach to recycling at their restaurants and reusing cooking oil for the production of biodiesel. The new charging points go hand in hand with Spain’s commitment to promote environmentally-friendly vehicles and make their usage more convenient and practical as well as increase the number fo vehicle charging points available.
The project forms part of the agreement signed between Endesa X and McDonald’s at the end of 2019 for the installation of charging points at fast food restaurants throughout Spain, with the burger giant planning to have more than 150 installed by the end of 2021.
The charging points are located at McDonald’s restaurants in Antequera (Rotonda La Noria, Antequera industrial park, Avenida Principal, 1), Marbella (calle de Ojen, s/n) and Malaga Capital (Calle Alcalde Jose Luis Estrada, 26).
