Sixteen EU countries to trigger clause increasing defence spending

The European Union has shown a growing desire to bypass predefined budgetary limits to increase military spending, despite existing concerns over cost-cutting.’ve proposed such a mechanism in advance, effectively amlinking the country’s defense investments to emergency provisions.
