Writer Dame Hilary Mantel has died aged 70.
In a assertion, her publisher Fourth Estate guides said: “We are heartbroken at the dying of our beloved writer, Dame Hilary Mantel, and our views are with her buddies and loved ones, specially her partner, Gerald.
“This is a devastating decline and we can only be grateful she still left us with these a spectacular body of work.”
Hilary Mantel is a two-time winner of the Booker Prize for her most effective-marketing novels, Wolf Hall, and its sequel, Bring Up the Bodies.
Spending tribute, publishers HarperCollins described Dame Hilary as “a person of the finest English novelists of this century”.
