Iga Swiatek suffers shock defeat to Caroline Garcia at Poland Open in Warsaw as clay successful streak ends

Earth No. 1 Iga Swiatek suffered a shock reduction to Caroline Garcia in the quarter-finals of the Poland Open in Warsaw.

Swiatek, who is returning to the WTA Tour after viewing her 37-match successful run ended in the third round of Wimbledon before this month, shed 1-6 6-1 4-6.
