Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) marked his third coronation at La Vuelta with a blistering time trial victory on Stage 21.
The Slovenian only had to coast the final stage, a 33.8km run from Padron to Santiago de Compostela, given he boasted a 2:38 lead in GC.
However, he underlined his status as the headline act by clocking the fastest time (44:02) and overtaking his closest challenger Enric Mas (Movistar) who had started two minutes ahead – and all despite nearly going the wrong way at a roundabout.
