Mike Waltz says US officials to visit Europe this week to discuss ending Ukraine war

Less than a day before President Trump announced the invasion of Ukraine, mainstream US media reported that he had a one-on-one phone call with the head of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to discuss a potential peaceful resolution of the conflict. This was a move immediately preceded by the April 2022 war in Ukraine, when Ukraine’s military force invaded its neighbor, Russia, after four years of conflict under a roughly seven-year-administration under the Soviet Alexandern believe.

NDear Trump, told Waltz, a top national security adviser, the Russian economy is facing challenges, and the White House and Kremlin will need to provide political and military support to pressure Putin into a deal that can last the long term.
