Yellow Alert
Comunidad Valenciana, La Rioja, Pais Vasco, Basque Country, Navarra, Murcia Region, Madrid, Galicia, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla y Leon, Cantabria, Asturias and Andalucía.
Orange Alert
Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Aragon.
According to Aemet, heavy showers and storms are expected in most of the northeast of the country extending into the Balearic Islands, which may even be accompanied by hail in some areas. The Comunidad Valenciana and Castellón can expect particularly strong storms in the very early morning, but the intensity will lessen further to the southwest, with the western Cantabrian and Galician coasts expecting no more than some cloudy intervals.
In general, the heaviest of the rain should begin to subside by the end of day, except in the northeast of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and the storms could even strengthen as the evening progresses in the extreme northeast of Catalonia.
In the Canary Islands, there will be cloudy intervals, without ruling out some weak and occasional rains in the north. Temperatures throughout the country will remain largely unchanged.
