The West Country and northern towns and cities have been hit hard by pub closures in recent months. A new study suggests that a third of single𫄷 have already had to cancel or join the pub due to filters on our devices. These filters block dating apps from showing singles, making it difficult for some singles to find just the right match for dinner or drinks. The social impact of this trend is immense, as empty couches and unopened)! cups are a significant issue for many couples, affecting their relationships and personal well-being.

The YourPub Needs You campaign addresses this problematic trend by providing a chance for singles to access drinks and spirit from other regions. By partnering with local bars regularly, the initiative offers more than just convenience—it fosters understanding and reduces discrepant views, which are often the case in crowded towns. The campaign also emphasizes the importance of finding like-minded individuals, which is especially critical in these remote areas where social interactions are limited.

One of the key strategies of YourPub Needs You is to offer support to singles as they navigate these closures. Recognizing the invaluable time this process takes, the campaign has created a list of 10 suggestions for singles to help them adjust better. These include reaching out to friends or family for recommendations, joining online groups or forums, and seeking advice from bar),

Additionally, the campaign has raised awareness about the impact of pub closures on the community. By reminding singles that social connections matter more than menus, the YourPub Needs You program encourages a more inclusive approach to this issue. It also highlights the emotional aspect of resilience in the face of disruption and offers ways to make a conscious choice to continue living together.

While some might be hesitant to take the risk associated withYourPub Needs You, the overall success of the campaign is clear. More than 100,000 people have already joined, and the founder, Ken Tipping, emphasizes the importance of following through. If individuals are looking for a way to help improve the situation for singles living in the West Country and northern towns, YourPub Needs You is an invaluable resource.
