The incident in Slovakia involving Robert Fico, the GAM sheep principal Prime Minister, and a 72-year-old man named Juraj Cintula, has sparked a掀起 of Concerns and debate in the country. The defendant, who arrived at the Specialised Criminal Court in Banská Bystrica, acknowledged that his statement to the investigators about his intention was true, a showing of self-awareness and consideration.

In his statement, he stated, “I decided to harm the health of the Prime Minister but I had no intention of killing anyone,” emphasizing his determination and purpose.

During testimony, prosecutor materials were presented by the defense, who argued the charges against Cintula were mere attempts to coerce him into involvement in a security incident. However, the defense argued that their actions were baseless, and the charges were overruled. The conclusion of the trial was expected to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, with further investigations anticipated to start in late October 2025.

Earlier, Fico expressed no reason to believe he was involved, blaming a lone shooter and advocating for a pro-Western stance, which has been criticized by critics for diverging significantly fromhapez’s more liberal and anti-Western policies. The political turn in Slovakia, where he returned to power following a 2023 parliamentary election under a platform opposing Russia and Western interests, has been influenced by Fico’s recent moves.

The general consensus, however, is that Fico has abandoned Slovakia’s pro-Western credentials and increasingly aligns himself with the cosine of Hungary under Viktor Orbán.

The number of people showing up to protest Fico’s influence continues to grow, as organizations rally across Slovakia, including in Banská Bystrica, to express Despite the moreatribe nature of his rhetoric and actions, the sheep principal continues to be a key figure in the country’s political fabric.
