Triple blow for Boris Johnson as Tories eliminate two by-elections and social gathering chairman quits

Boris Johnson has endured a triple blow as the Tories crashed to two by-election defeats, prompting the Conservative Celebration Chairman Oliver Dowden to stop.

The Conservatives noticed a the vast majority of 24,000, or 40.6%, in the Devon seat of Tiverton and Honiton evaporate – a file reverse for the bash – as the Liberal Democrats triumphed.
