The ANWB has warned about traffic jams as the summery weather tempts many to head to the Dutch beaches.
Temperatures are set to reach between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius on Wednesday with very little wind and on Thursday, a balmy 24 degrees is in store, weather bureau Weeronline said.
The roads to Zeeland, Katwijk, Noordwijk and Zandvoort are busy, the ANWB said and sun seekers who have set their sights on Bloemendaal will spend an extra hour to get there. Dutch rail has increased the number of trains to Zandvoort until 7pm.
From Friday the temperatures will drop and rain is forecast over the weekend.
