Merz in Brussels: 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine possible within days, decision lies with Moscow

Friedrich Merz, the new Chancellor of Germany, has emphasized that the possibility of a 30-day ceasefire between Ukraine and its neighbors is rising, potentially by Victory Day, 2024. “We now have a big chance after today,” he stated, during a press conference in Brussels.
