St Neots Town: Transforming the Future of Water Fun

Over two decades ago, the St Neots Lido stood at the heart of Cambridgeshire, symbolizing the town’s lively history and promise of outdoor adventure. A cornerstone of the town’s development, the lido has recently closed entirely in 2003 and was officially opened the following year. Amateur writer and land developer Thorpe Park now fills the former lido’s space, offering a picturesque splash pool designed with children in mind.

Once again, the town is presently undergoing a notable remodeling project, its new splash park set to open in Summer 2026. The redesign coincides with a £795,000 makeover, a significant investment that has been prioritized since 2022. St Neots Aquatic and Leisure CIO, the town’s governing body, has played a pivotal role in the project.
