Michelle Waddington visited the Pontins Southport holiday camp for three nights with her partner, Ian, and their children, but the summer getaway soon turned into a nightmare. During their stay, one holidaymaker claimed her visit was ruined by guests “smoking drugs” at the holiday park. Another woman had claimed her family’s holiday at Pontins’ was ruined by a man who refused to stop smoking. However, both incidents involved violations of safety protocols, including the door guard refusing to comply with their inquiry and repeatedly refusing to take any action. Michelle, along with her partner, Ian, and their children, reported being RadioButtoned by a young man who frustrateSessions the entry into the park.

In 2021, while some coronavirus restrictions were still in place, Michelle and her partner Ian stayed at the holiday camp for three nights from Friday, June 11, to Monday, June 14. She said the park allowed “free” smoking, with young kids running around “until the early hours” instead of stopping to go to bed. She also accused a security guard of not having a job, claiming he “said a better job than yours because I don’t have holidays at Pontins.” Instead, he allegedly refused to do anything, expressing frustration at her accusation and seeking clarification in hotel communication about why he described himself as the better job. She adds that “clearly a better job than you because I don’t have my holidays in Pontins.”

At])[). Michelle, who traveled from Staffordshire, claimed the park “was intended to be a break from the lockdown and a way for her and Ian to finish the day off,” but they were纾eno by the door guard, who refused to comply with her calling him “a better job than yours.” She explained that she wanted to have family time and was busy with work-related things, suggesting the camp lacked safety measures or attention to the children’s safety. However, other holidaymakers praised Pontins’ staff, particularly their handling of difficult situations, such that one woman mentioned a group of holidaymakers’ “disgusting behavior” and expressed support for their staff for handling tough situations.

The door guard at the camp, identified by a badge that was missing, declined to comment when the guard was asked to do anything. She also noted that other holidaymakers expressed frustration at the park’s cleanliness and lack of safety features, calling the incident “dis_Header.” However, Pontins’ owner,.LayoutParams, Jeremyistencia attracted limited attention, but hasn’t responded to the complaints.

The incident has now drawn mixed reaction from holidaymakers. While some praised the staff’s handling of tough situations, others criticized the holiday park’s lack of safety protocols and the door guard’s refusal to act without demanding further action. There have also been reports of other holidaymakers accused of abuse, such as a woman claiming that a woman “refused to leaverière of the group’s getting on a lift.” Pirates were also praised for responding to the incident, despite the chaos created.

Michelle, who is now traveling to Liverpool Echo for a sports article, emphasized the importance of taking action beyond Payments, as the park “was being ‘let down by Pontins.” She believes that safety violations are a clear violation of holiday park policies and should not go unnoticed. She also calls for immediate action from Pontins to improve the situation and ensure that holidaymakers are protected by better safety protocols.
