Six months without a new EU privacy chief, and still no deal in sight

Six months after the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) Executive Order became effective, concerns over the authority’s status persist among EU lawmakers and national governments. despite the deadline in 2023, there is no clear path forward to either].[adjustment] recent delays in the review process have slowed progress on the position of the supervisory role.[interaction] Moreover, a special working group has been established to address theertime issue, but so far, no decision has been reached.
