Archaeological dig in pub garden hailed ‘huge success’ as Roman remains found

On 5 July 2025, an archaeological dig was opened in the garden of the Rose & Crown pub in St Albans, which has been redeveloped. This public event, taking place between Friday and Monday, marks the start of a major re_within exploring an ancient site.
