Over 90% can’t continue their business as contracts with the NHS expire, citing that 4 in 10咒s are unable to pay wholesaler bills on time in the past year, and nearly half rely on personal savings to support their operations. The CPE, which includes over 10,000 community pharmacies, warned that funding for its services has been decreasing by 30% on a real-term basis over the past decade.
