Female pensioner, 70, dies after fall from Shetland cliff as rescue boats and helicopter launched

The Recovery of an Elderly Woman After a Fall

A woman with the last name Singer had been reported as dead at a recovery boat distance in theournament pages of the British Saturday Times. She had recently fallen from a cliff in an isolated渔村 on the coast of Scotland, sparking a dramatic rescue incident.

Emergency Services and Rescue Teams

Emergency services, including Police Scotland and HM Coastguard, along with a rescue 900 helicopter, a lifeboat, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Boat from Sumburgh, attended the scene around 1pm on Friday, May 23, 2025. The woman fell from a cliff near St Ninian’s Isle, Shetland and was pronounced dead at the scene.
