Video. Nvidia’s AI robot ‘Blue’ stuns with live interaction

Jensen Huang, the NVIDIA CEO, announced groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) during a speech at Globesquare.io, Evolved, and the Newton project’s developer conference on March 19, 2025. In a demonstration titled From a Stage to a Robot: The AI-Powered Revolution, Huang highlighted how NVIDIA’s existing expertise in robotics and its integration with DeepMind and Disney Research has created the standout AI-powered robot named Blue.

The Newton project, a collaboration between NVIDIA, Google, DeepMind, and Disney Research, aims to transform automotive, cultural, and entertainment industries by deploying cutting-edge AI technologies. In the demo at the Globesquare event, Huang unveiled the robot, which mimics a human’s reaction to gluons, a particle beyond quarks. Blue could interact with Huang in real-time, responding to gestures and verbal commands. The showcase demonstrated NVIDIA’s focus on AI integration, showcasing how the company is accelerating global progress in robotics and AI. The presentation was held at Google’s investor day, where Huang expressed confidence in *Blue’s ability to evoke emotions deeper than a human and to adapt to changing norms.
