New Prime Series Chronicles Traveler’s Quest for World Record in Electric Vehicle Range

Lexi Limitless, known for her remarkable travels and accomplishments, has recently embarked on an ambitious endeavor: she aims to become the first person to travel around the globe in an electric vehicle (EV). This journey, which stretches over 29,000 kilometers and covers six continents, is chronicled in her new three-part docuseries titled ‘Charge Around The Globe,’ available on Prime Video. Lexi, who previously made headlines as the youngest individual to visit every country in the world at just 21, is now in her late twenties and continues to push the limits of her travel experiences. Her latest challenge not only reinforces her adventurous spirit but also embodies her philosophy of personal growth through stepping outside one’s comfort zone.

Motivated by a deep curiosity for diverse cultures and experiences, Lexi decided to put a significant time constraint on her circumnavigation attempt: completing her journey within 90 days. This endeavor, as she explains, fundamentally changes the way one engages with different cultures. While extended stays usually allow for deeper cultural integration, her record attempt necessitated a different approach. As it turned out, unexpected challenges along the way extended her journey beyond the initial timeframe, illustrating the unpredictability inherent in long-distance travel while highlighting her resilience as an explorer.

Inspiring her world record attempt is Aloha Wanderwell, a Canadian pioneer who, in 1922, became the first woman to drive around the world. Lexi sought to honor Wanderwell’s legacy, as she felt a profound connection to the spirit of exploration that both women share despite the century separating their journeys. Lexi’s choice of a Ford Explorer EV to emulate Wanderwell’s Ford Model-T further reflects her commitment to bridging history and showcasing the advancements in travel technology. Starting and ending her journey in Nice, France—Wanderwell’s departure point—allowed Lexi to pay homage to a female figure in exploration who received less recognition than her male counterparts, marking a full-circle moment in her own journey.

Planning the expedition took nearly a year, with particular attention paid to route logistics— especially the challenges posed by EV charging. Lexi’s team leveraged resources to map out available charging stations, yet they remained aware of the unpredictability of charging availability. Adhering to the world record requirement of visiting at least five continents further complicated logistics, requiring creative solutions around transportation and timing. The team prepared multiple vehicles strategically placed across different continents, which allowed Lexi to navigate efficiently while fostering a sense of adventure.

Driving through diverse regions, Lexi experienced a variety of cultures and landscapes firsthand. While she loved every new place, her time in Georgia stood out as a highlight due to its underrated beauty. Lexi particularly enjoyed exploring less-traveled paths in Europe, with scenic drives through Serbia and northern Greece capturing her imagination. However, travel in remote areas, such as the wide expanses between the Atacama Desert and Argentina, posed unique challenges, especially concerning the availability of charging stations. In certain instances, she needed to strategically monitor her vehicle’s range and adapt to various terrains, maintaining a delicate balance between reaching the next charging location and soaking in the scenery.

Throughout her journey, Lexi prioritized meaningful interactions with the locals, demonstrating her belief that travel is ultimately about connecting with people. Her experiences included volunteering in a Sikh community kitchen in India, journeying with an anti-poaching unit in South Africa, and engaging in profound conversations with a Buddhist nun in Bhutan. These encounters provided depth to her travels, enriching her understanding of different ways of life. Nevertheless, with the intensity of her record attempt, Lexi realized that the rigorous pace took a toll on her health and well-being, leading her to express a desire for future adventures at a more sustainable speed.

In conclusion, Lexi Limitless continues to inspire others with her daring exploration and her dedication to weaving the stories of the past into the narrative of her own adventures. While viewers can find out the outcome of her latest record attempt in the ‘Charge Around The Globe’ docuseries, Lexi emphasizes the value of health and reflection as she looks forward to future journeys. Through her captivating online presence, she encourages fellow travelers to embrace their own wanderlust, underscoring her belief that profound experiences await beyond one’s comfort zone.
