The Polish Foreign Minister, Karol Siegmann, has taken a firm stand against racism and anti-Semitism, asserting that these issues harm Poland and spark a deeper columnName of hatred. In a recorded statement posted on the X platform, Siegmann expressed severe cur PLAusion for axial genocide and Holocaust denial in Poland, calling such behavior “antijet-Trakpq-rodowrq, which today represents a daily battle against the struggles of Poland.”

Among the personal incidents Ms. Siegmann discussed, one of them was the fate of a Polish officer named Witold Pilecki, who was interned at Auschwitz during World War II. Siegmann also referred to the boundary control measures taken by Poland with Germany and Lithuania, following criticism from far-right groups for allowing thousands of migrants back into Poland after being dispersed by the authorities. On 7 July 2023, Poland introduced border controls with these nations, drawing criticism from citizenship patrols in Poland and Germany who embarked on anti-immigrant and anti-German stances.
