Exploring the Baltics by train just got easier as new rail route links three capital cities

    A new rail network has been announced to connect three Baltic capitals in a matter of days, making travel between the region more efficient and convenient.

    From Vilnius, travelers will be able to reach Tallinn in a single day thanks to improved train services. This is a significant step forward for all three cities.

    Additionally, a new rail route will allow regular travel between Vilnius and Riga, enabling first-day travel across the region.

    Previously, the transfer from Vilnius to Tallinn required multiple stops and long wait times. The updated rail network now connects all three cities seamlessly.

    Both the Vilnius-Riga and Vilnius-Riga routes will now offer a universal way to designate the one-day journey by passing through Valga in Estonia.

    The journey from Vilnius to Tallinn is approximately 789 kilometers long, covering all three capitals in a shorter time. The cost is €39 for second-class. First-class passengers gain complementary beverages.
